Since January 2026, TOEFL iBT section and overall scores are reported on a 1–6 scale. For a two-year transition period, score reports also include a comparable 0–120 overall score.
What it means
The overall score is the average of the four section scores, rounded to the nearest half band.
Some universities may still state requirements on the 0–120 scale during the transition.
